Agnieszka Oleszczuk-Sowa

Agnieszka is a partner and attorney at law with more than ten years of experience in providing legal services to entrepreneurs. She has been gaining experience within an international consulting company, one of the BIG 4.

Agnieszka is responsible for providing legal services to entities from the IT and e-commerce sectors, as well as for legal support in the area of intellectual property law. She advises and negotiates license contracts, contracts for the development, implementation, maintenance of software and IT systems. She conducts legal audits in the field of IP. She also supports entrepreneurs in application of 50% of tax-deductible costs due to the transfer of copyrights.

Agnieszka has experience in providing legal advice on transactions, including drafting and negotiation of cooperation agreements, share purchase agreements, investment contracts, joint-venture agreements, including in particular those related to R&D projects and acquisition of software development businesses. She advised on divisions, mergers and transformations of companies.
She also provides ongoing services to entrepreneurs in corporate, labour law and personal data protection matters.

Agnieszka graduated with honours from law at the Jagiellonian University and postgraduate studies in the field of new technology law at the Academy of Leon Kozminski. She completed a several-month internship at the Council of Europe in the personal data protection department. Her master’s in the field of “Abuse of exclusive rights as an abuse of a dominant position” was distinguished with the award of the Minister of Economy in a competition organized by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. She completed legal training at the OIRP in Krakow.
